BlueScope Construction was the Construction Manager and also provided structural engineering, material supply, and steel erection for the building shell. BSC designed a hybrid building utilizing pre-engineered components and conventional elements to provide the most cost-competitive solution. Buildings in the complex include an office administration building, hub/sorting area, cross dock area, vehicle maintenance building, trailer garage, and fuel island. The facility exterior features a metal wall system and standing seam roof system manufactured by BlueScope Buildings, the parent company of BlueScope Construction. The large site required over 250,000 tons of crushed stone, 100,000 cubic yards of clay fills, an underground storm system, fire loop, and forced main and gravity sewer. In addition, site work included 2 state highway intersection improvements, 5/8 mile of road improvements, street lighting, curbs, and sidewalks.
